Please join us to view the E.S. (Shan) Wood Arrowhead Collection. This amazing projectile point collection was gathered by Shan beginning with his arrival in Gering, NE in 1888. With the help of grants from Gering Keno, the Oregon Trail Community Foundation, a fundraiser at Tom & Donna Cozad's, and donations from our membership and individuals in the community, enough funds were raised to build cases for this amazing collection of projectile points and tools.
The Grand Premier Celebration included flint knapping demonstrations, living history demonstrations throughout the museum, music by Kent Gabriel, and hors d'oeuvre furnished by the museum's Board of Directors.
